By joining WasteWise, Endorsers demonstrate their environmental leadership and play a pivotal role in conserving our natural resources and preventing pollution. EPA recognizes Endorsers in publications and press releases, as well as the Endorser of the Year Awards Program.
WasteWise Endorsers commit to:
- Recruit organizations to become WasteWise Partners. Endorsers may send a mailing to local businesses, place articles in newsletters, or give a WasteWise presentation at an annual conference. EPA provides Endorsers with all of the program information and materials.
- Provide WasteWise Partners with ongoing information. Endorsers may distribute promotional or technical materials, conduct waste reduction workshops, sponsor an awards program, or help WasteWise Partners exchange information.
