DERA Emerging Technologies Projects

Emerging Technologies Projects (2008-2011)

EPA’s Clean Diesel Emerging Technologies Program fosters the development of cutting-edge technologies that reduce emissions from the existing fleet of heavy-duty diesel engines. The program promotes the deployment of innovative technologies that have not yet been verified or certified by EPA or California Air Resources Board (CARB) by providing funding to develop and evaluate these technologies in the field.

These projects were funded by Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) or American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA).
