U.S. Environmental Protection Agency May 17, 1999 Document Released for Stakeholder Review and Comment "Modeling Diurnal and Resting Loss Emissions from Vehicles Certified to the Enhanced Evaporative Standards" Report Number M6.EVP.005, EPA420-P-98-012 This document reports on EPA's proposed methods of estimating the resting loss and diurnal evaporative hydrocarbon emissions from vehicles certified to the enhanced evaporative standards (i.e., some 1996 through 1998 and all 1999 and newer vehicles). Since this draft report is a proposal, its analyses and conclusions may change to reflect comments, suggestions, and new data. Please note that EPA is seeking comments that might aid us in modeling any aspect of resting loss or diurnal evaporative emissions. Comments on this report and its proposed use in MOBILE6 should be sent to the attention of Larry Landman.
