American Clean Energy Systems, Inc.
Sagamore Hills, Ohio

American Clean Energy Systems provides emissions reduction and fuel saving technologies to the freight transport industry, enabling fleet customers to address their environmental goals while maintaining operational profitability.

American Clean Energy Systems has adopted policies at its freight shipping facility that reflect the company's commitment to reduce both vehicle emissions and reliance on foreign oil.  American Clean Energy Systems ships exclusively with SmartWay Transport partnership carriers; implements a "no idle" policy, and uses only hand-operated pallet jacks to move freight.  In addition, American Clean Energy Systems actively promotes the SmartWayPartnership among its fleet customers, employees, and industry contacts.

"At American Clean Energy Systems, our mission is twofold:  reduce dependency on foreign oil and reduce toxic emissions from mobile sources.  Our view has been to help fleets achieve this in a cost effective manner.   To us, SmartWay complements our mission in that it is a program which allows industry to help industry come together, develop a common vision, and proactively work towards solutions that benefit everybody involved."

- Tom Chuna, Northeast Ohio Sales and Technical Support, American Clean Energy Systems, Inc.
