Bison operates more than 800 power units and 2300 trailers. Bison combines effective equipment purchasing decisions with innovative training techniques to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and fuel consumption. Bison takes a three-prong approach to training – utilizing computer-based training, classroom instruction, and state-of-the-art full motion simulation. Through this training, Bison has improved its fuel economy 3%. It also has won multiple awards in Canada for its achievements in energy efficiency and safety.
