Motivated by a passion for the tire business, the Marangoni Group has
accumulated over 50 years of broad experience and expertise in all
aspects of managing the life cycle of tires. They specialize
in total tire management, including tire-making machinery, new tire
manufacturing, retailing, distribution, retreading and retreading systems,
tire disposal and producing energy through a state-of-the-art tire
incineration and a non-polluting thermal processing system. Marangoni’s
RINGTREAD® System, the splice-less-precure
retreading system, has been licensed to independent retreaders across
North America.
In support of its goals in the SmartWay Transport Partnership, Marangoni
Tread North America’s manufacturing facility in Madison, Tennessee
has implemented strategies to:
- Reduce truck idle time,
- Improve processes to maintain proper tire air pressure in its fleet,
- Increase shipments with SmartWay Partners,
- Promote the SmartWay Transport Partnership Program,
- Assist trucking companies in reaching their committed goals to
improve fuel economy, and,
- Publish tire maintenance and fuel savings data on the website.
