leaf Winner, 2006 SmartWay Excellence Award

National Logistics Management provides transportation logistics solutions for a variety of industries using a network of ground, air freight, and air charter carriers.

NLM’s commitments under the SmartWay Partnership include determining the percentage of its freight carried by SmartWay Partners, promoting awareness of the SmartWay Partnership to its contracted carriers, and reporting its progress to EPA annually.

“We are excited to join the SmartWay Transport Partnership and look forward to doing our part in helping the EPA reduce harmful emissions and increase fuel efficiency. When dealing with something as large as the logistics industry, even small steps, such as idle reduction, go a long way in substantially improving the environment. It simply makes good business sense to reduce costs by consuming less fuel.”

— Scott Taylor, NLM founder and CEO
