Joining the SmartWay Transport Partnership is simple.
Step 1: Sign a Shipper Partnership Agreement (PDF, 2 pages, 160K) with EPA.
Step 2: Calculate the current percentage of freight you are shipping with SmartWay Transport Carriers. You can use EPA's FLEET Performance Model for Shippers to easily calculate this value.
