Services: Offers confidential and nonregulatory assistance at no cost. P2 Intern program places top Iowa college students with Iowa businesses interested in cost-effective ways to cut or eliminate waste from their operations.

Iowa Waste Reduction Center
Services: Assists Iowa small businesses (fewer than 200 employees) in complying with environmental regulations through free and confidential environmental consultation. The center also conducts research and develops technologoes for more efficient and environmentally friendly production painting processes. Services include on-site review and airm emissions assistance.

KANSAS
Kansas State University Pollution Prevention Institute (PPI)
Services: Provides free, confidential, technical environmental assistance. PPI houses the Kansas Small Business Enviornmental Assistance Program (SBEAP) and the Energy Efficieny and Pollution Prevention Intern Program, a nonregulatory summer program designed to link top-level engineering and environmental science students with business and industry.

University of Nebraska Lincoln Partners in Pollution Prevention (UNLP3)
Services: Provides one-to-one P2 assistance to Nebraska businesses utilizing undergaduate student interns who perform waste assessments or other waste-reduction projects, and provides each client a written report detailing waste-minimization suggestions.
