5.2  Annual Amount of Pesticides Used in the United States: 1988–2007

Table 5.5 through Table 5.8 and corresponding figures summarize the annual amount of pesticides used since 1988. Table 5.5 summarizes the amount of pesticides used in all markets combined, while Table 5.6, Table 5.7, and Table 5.8 and corresponding figures summarize the amount of pesticides used in the agricultural, industry/commercial/
government, and home and garden markets, respectively.
