The EPA's Guidelines for Ensuring and Maximizing the Quality, Objectivity, Utility, and Integrity of Information Disseminated by the Environmental Protection Agency (PDF 529KB, 61pp.) create a mechanism that enables the public to seek and obtain, where appropriate, correction of information disseminated by the EPA that does not comply with OMB's or EPA's Information Quality Guidelines.

If you believe that EPA has disseminated information that does not comply with the OMB or EPA Information Quality Guidelines and you are directly affected by this information, then you can submit a request to have this information correct. For information on submitting an request for correction, see "How do I submit a Request for Correction?"
If you are dissatisfied with an EPA decision regarding your Request for Correction, you can submit a Request for Reconsideration. To submit a Request for Reconsideration you should have already submitted a Request for Correction to EPA and received a response to that request.
