UEP Community Grants Program

The Urban Environmental Program (UEP) has participated in the coordination of Community Grant Programs since 1995 in order to fund eligible applicants to complete urban environmental and public health related projects in the urban neighborhoods of New England.

Projects that address the following issues are of priority for the Urban Environmental Program: Lead Poisoning Prevention; Indoor Air Quality; Ambient Air Quality; Urban Rivers/Wetlands; Urban Vacant Lots; and Open/Green Space.

Grants Management

Grant Training

The Urban Environmental Program sponsors grant training sessions to assist applicants with the grant application process. The training will provide an overview of the UEP's target programs and examples of past UEP funded projects. In addition, participants will learn about the grant application/award processes and offered practical tips on how to prepare a strong grant application. UEP grant trainings are free and open to the public.
