TheRI/FS report and this Proposed Plan have been made available to the public for a public comment period which begins on July 22, 2004 and concludes on August 21, 2004.

Public Meeting:
August 11, 2004 at 7:00 p.m.
EPA will hold a Public meeting to explain the Post Decision Proposed Plan. The meeting will be held at
Clintondale Fire Department, Clintondale, New York.

Free PDF reader available The Proposed Plan [59 KB, 9 pages] was developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in consultation with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC). EPA is issuing the Post- Decision Proposed Plan as part of its public participation responsibilities under Section 117(a) of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) of 1980, as amended (commonly known as the federal "Superfund" law), and Section 300.430(f)(2) of the NNational Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP). EPA encourage's the public to review these documents to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the site and Superfund activities that have been conducted at the site.
