New Jersey: Revisions to the Emissions Statement Program

EPA Approval Date:
EPA's approval of Emission Statement Program revisions were effective
on September 1, 2004.
State Submittal:
On January 23, 2003 the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection
(NJDEP) submitted to EPA a SIP revision which incorporates revisions to
Subchapter 21 "Emissions Statements" with a State effective
date of February 18, 2003.

Summary:
Revises a State program that requires stationary sources to report annually
to the State their emissions and make this data available to EPA and the
public. The revision enhances the reporting requirements for VOC and NOx
and expands the reporting to include CO, SO2, TSP, PM2.5 or less, as well
as several other pollutants.
New Regulations Included As Part of the SIP:
NJAC 7:27, Subchapter 21, Emission Statements, effective February 18,
2003.
