Wetlands Cleanup at Udalls Cove - April 12
A wetlands cleanup at Udalls Cove, in northeast Queens, will be sponsored by the Udalls Cove Preservation Committee
. The location is easily accessible by public transportation (Long Island Railroad).
New York Aquarium - April 19-20
New York Aquarium
is located in Coney Island, Brooklyn on Surf Avenue & West 8th Street. Join us to honor planet Earth and its oceans, with music, dancing, and crafts activities using recyclable materials! The day features a Green Fest, where environmentally-friendly vendors will show you how to pitch in to help keep our planet green.
EPA will have an exhibit at this event.
Go Green Expo - April 26-27
The inaugural Go Green Expo
will take place at the Hilton New York Hotel on 6th Avenue at 53rd Street. Go Green Expo will feature the latest eco-friendly products and services that all New Yorkers can learn about and purchase to help reduce their environmental impact and lead a "greener" life. EPA will have an exhibit at this event.
