EPA Region 2 is hosting a series of free web-based information sessions and discussions with experts pertaining to clean diesel practices and strategies. The sessions are intended to share information with local governments (i.e. municipalities, counties, etc.), planning organizations and other interested parties on several clean diesel topics such as air quality and climate change impacts, green construction, biofuels, and funding opportunities. Ultimately, these sessions will help communities integrate clean diesel practices into their environmental plans. The goals of these information sessions include:
- Inform participants on current and successful clean diesel strategies
- Provide guidance for obtaining federal funding for projects
- Work with communities to incorporate clean diesel practices into environmental plans.
The first of these webinars is available here. The audio recording from the session is posted below (as mp3 files) along with the powerpoint slides (as pdf files).
