Role and Responsibility of EMS Coordinator

See definitions. The role of the EMS Coordinator is to be the team leader and overall champion of the EMS. The responsibilities of EMS Coordinator include: arranging for, scheduling, chairing and note taking for EMS Team meetings, reviewing, initiating and coordinating required changes to documents, arranging for and tracking the concurrence of office/divisions for EMS documents, monitoring and measuring our progress on objectives and targets, communicating EMS information and training staff, coordinating and arranging for audits and conducting management reviews.

Role and Responsibility of Division and Office Representatives

Each division, office, and major organization in the regional office, will have a representative on the EMS Team. Depending on the size of the organization they may also have a backup EMS Team member. The role of the Division/Office Representative is to be the liaison between the EMS Coordinator and their organization and the leader and champion of the EMS within their organization. The responsibilities of the Division/Office Representative to the EMS Team include: attending EMS Team meetings, or arranging for the backup to attend, reviewing information and documents, and/or arranging for others in their organization to review, assisting with obtaining the concurrence of their organization on EMS documents, communicating EMS information to their organization and providing, or assisting in the providing, of EMS training to their organization.
