Community Based Air Toxics Projects On this website, you will find descriptions of community-based air toxics projects designed to assess and address health and environmental issues at the local level. EPA supports air toxics projects in communities across the nation to help inform and empower citizens to make local decisions concerning the health of their communities. |
Through CARE, EPA supports communities as they create local collaborative partnerships that implement local solutions to reduce releases of toxic pollutants and minimize exposure to toxic pollutants. CARE educates and supports communities by helping them assess the pollution risks they face while also providing competitive funding and access to EPA's and other voluntary programs to address local environmental priorities. | |
