Oklahoma Green Infrastructure Workshop and the 26th Annual Resource Management Conference
Oklahoma Green Infrastructure Workshop and the 26th Annual Resource Management Conference

EPA Region 6 is sponsoring a green infrastructure workshop throughout the 26th Annual Resource Management Conference in the City of Tulsa, OK. The workshop is a combined partnership of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the City of Tulsa, the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality, the Tulsa County Conservation District, the Tulsa Area Conservation Foundation, the Home Builders Association of Tulsa, and the Metropolitan Environmental Trust. The workshop will bring technical experts, including representatives from the Houston Low Impact Development Competition, the Center for Neighborhood Technology, the Oklahoma Conservation Commission, and the Oklahoma Water Resources Board. The workshop is intended primarily for local and state municipal representatives, planners, consultants, regulators, developers, architects, contractors, and other entities with wet weather management responsibilities, i.e., stormwater, combined sewer overflows, sanitary sewer overflows and nonpoint source runoff. The workshop will focus on how these programs can be effectively managed using green infrastructure technologies and approaches.
The workshop will be held at the Tulsa Home Builders Association on May 25 and 26, 2010 in the City of Tulsa, OK.
To register to the workshop, please see the attached brochure.
