Utah's Ozone Concentrations
Ozone levels can vary from year to year with weather conditions. All Utah ozone monitors currently are attaining the 1997 National Ambient Air Quality Standards for ozone based on 3 year averages of measured concentrations. Attainment status for the 2006 NAAQS has not been evaluated, pending EPA's reconsideration of this standard in 2010. The State is developing programs to help curb the formation of Ozone.
