Community Listening Sessions
The purpose of a Community Listening Sessions is to hear the challenges, concerns, and changes people currently face in their communities. The process involves asking community members, stakeholders, and community leaders what their priorities, values, and long-range objectives are. During the listening sessions, EPA puts aside any expectations on what the community may say, and focuses on what community members are actually saying. As a result, information is gained from a broad perspective of issues that may or may not include environmental and human health concerns.
