Earth's Natural Beauty

Intergenerational Description of Joint Project

My dad and I planned this essay by brainstorming (in our minds) of what natural features we saw and what they felt, smelled or sounded like. My dad and I finished this essay by starting with little details then ending with the bigger more extravagant ones. This was a special project because my dad and I worked as a team and did this together.

Celebration of Rachel Carson’s Sense of Wonder

This brought my dad and I in touch with nature by being high above usual and seeing all the creatures, hearing the waves, and seeing all of that ocean blue water.

Earth's Natural Beauty

It was ingot and sunny day in the Bahamas. It wasn’t windy, it wasn’t rainy and it was the most pleasant day we had spent there yet. I love the feeling of the sun hitting my skin and just feeling the warmth. All that was in sigh was the clear blue ocean and the clear blue sky. My dad and I had been on the beach looking for the people that usually take us parasailing. We had found the people and we were up next to go on the boat. My dad and I both were super excited, it was like a tradition we have to do before we leave vacation. We were waiting for the boat to finish its previous round so meanwhile my dad and I went up these stone stair at which was right by the edge of where the boat came in and was viewing the ocean. We sat on the top and just looked at the natural beauty, it was beautiful. As we sat closer to the sun we could feel the warmth, and we look down at where the boat could come in and we could see right through the water. The clear aqua blue water, we could see fish, seaweed and we had seen a beautiful starfish. While waiting I had spotted a crab crawling up the wall. My dad and I thought it was cool because I haven’t seen an actual crab before, it’s always been like crabs don’t actually show up on the beach because that never happens, but I saw an actual crab walking up the oceans stone wall. So after we waited about a half an hour the boat had pulled up and was ready to take us. We had jumped on to the boat and next thing we know is that we are sailing on the clear blue ocean waters. I was so happy and excited because people in Michigan are so used to small lakes and dreaming of being on the ocean. We were sailing, as you could hear the boat running passed the water and all the splashed going passed the boat. We had come to a stop and were ready to go up. You could, see, her and feel the waves push the boat, and you could smell the fresh ocean water. We had taken off and set high in the air. While parasailing you see such a pretty scenery. You see the blue water the beach the resort but the best part if the ocean because there isn’t a thing out in front of you. In conclusion the natural beauty was amazing as you could, feel, hear and see things. It was an amazing experience to be on the ocean and see, hear and feel all of those things. Us humans put off living, we are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our very windows ~Dale Carnegie
