Based on 2011 data reported by SmartWay Carriers, this chart shows the average payload across their truckload dry van fleets. The line is made up of individual points, each of which corresponds to a fleet's performance. To preserve confidentiality, no fleet name is associated with any data point. The data represent average payload when loaded, and do not include the vehicle weight or empty miles.
