Meteorologists - Take The Don't Fry Day Pledge
We need your help! Pledge to teach about sun safety during your spring and summer outreach activities. In an effort to raise awareness about a health issue that is largely preventable and too often ignored – skin cancer – EPA encourages you to participate in the 5th annual national sun safety day.
Being SunWise is important today and every day. EPA teams up with other members of the National Council on Skin Cancer Prevention, which include the American Cancer Society, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, to support the Don’t Fry Day campaign. As millions of us enjoy the great outdoors on Memorial Day weekend and throughout the summer, EPA and the Council are reminding Americans to practice sun-safe behaviors. As part of the campaign, we’d like your help! Pledge to incorporate sun safety into your spring and summer outreach activities.
