Office of Emergency & Remedial Response Changes Its Name
Effective June 26, 2003, the Office of Emergency & Remedial Response changed its name to Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation. This new organization will focus on remediation of sites contaminated with hazardous materials and will entail both management of a national cleanup program, as well as promotion of innovative technologies for such cleanups. Further refinement of responsibilities is underway. Information on these changes will be made available on this Web site.
