Technical and Analytical Support for EPA's National Priorities List
The purpose of this contract is to obtain technical and analytical services from contractors to provide support in planning, assessing and implementing National Priorities List (NPL) activities. The primary function of the contract is to provide technical support and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) support for the placement of sites on the NPL. This includes review of the Hazard Ranking System (HRS) documentation record packages that are submitted by the EPA Regions, analysis of and response to public comments received when sites are proposed to the NPL, and technical support for the legal defense of the listing of those sites. Additionally, the support includes assistance in developing and updating guidance; providing Preliminary Assessment, Site Inspection, and HRS training to the Regions, States, Tribes, Regional contractors, and other interested parties; and information management support for the HRS and NPL program.
