Oil Program Information Line 202.260.2342 EPA maintains an oil program information line to answer questions and provideinformation to the public and owners and operators of regulated facilities onthe following topics: - Oil Pollution Act of 1990;
- SPCC Phase I Rulemaking;
- Facility Response Plan Rulemaking;
- Emergency Response Notification System (ERNS);
- NCP Product Schedule; and
- Other questions related to EPA's oil program.
EPA handles calls through a voicemail system that is downloaded daily bycontractor personnel. Oil program Publications as wells as copies of various rulemakings are made available tocallers upon request; they can also bedownloaded in Adobe Acrobat format. Questions involving government policy areforwarded to EPA personnel who make determinations and respond as quickly aspossible.
