Superfund Sites with Ready for Reuse (RfR) Determinations
Since 2003, six EPA Regional offices have issued a total of seventeen RfR Determinations for sites in their Regions, and as many as seven additional documents are currently underway. Local officials, developers, and EPA staff in Regional offices say that RfR Determinations have played an important role in the reuse of sites and serve many beneficial purposes. Local officials and developers report that they have used RfR Determinations to improve local economic conditions by encouraging reuse. Sites for which RfR Determinations have been written include:
