Envirofacts Master Chemical Integrator (EMCI) References. This site provides access to chemical data from several EPA databases.
Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). GRI is a voluntary multi-stakeholder process and also an independent institution that develops and disseminates globally applicable Sustainability Reporting Guidelines.
Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS).IRIS compiles electronic reports on specific substances found in the environment and their potential to cause human health effects.
Life Cycle Assessment. This site provides information that enables more informed decisions through a better understanding of the impact on human health and the environment of products, processes, and activities.
Next Generation of Environmental Management: Policy Reports. This site presents Ideas on new approaches to environmental protection from international and federal agencies, non-profit organizations, and think tanks.
Pollution Prevention Information Clearinghouse (PPIC). PPIC is a free EPA information service dedicated to reducing and eliminating industrial pollutants through technology transfer, source reduction, education, and public awareness.
Product Stewardship. This site contains information that helps manufacturers, retailers, users, and disposers to reduce harmful environmental impacts of consumer products.
Toxics Release Inventory Program. This publicly available EPA database contains information on toxic chemical releases and other waste management activities reported annually by covered industry groups and by federal facilities.
TRACI: Tool for the Reduction and Assessment of Chemical and Other Environmental Impacts. EPA's "TRACI" models and assesses potential environmental impacts such as ozone depletion, global warming, acidification, smog, and human cancer.
