Superfund Reaffirms Commitment to Clean Up Contaminated Groundwater
In June 2009, EPA issued policy directive that reaffirms its commitment to restore contaminated groundwater to beneficial reuse to the extent practicable,
as mandated by the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA) as amended. The June 26, 2009, document,
"Summary of Key Existing EPA CERCLA Policies for Groundwater

is meant to serve as an aid to increase consistency and transparency in EPA groundwater restoration decisions.

Revitalization in Indian Country Petroleum Brownfields
