EPA is encouraging tribes to review and comment on the Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response Tribal Strategy, EPA and Tribal Partnership to Preserve and Restore Land in Indian Country (PDF) (53 pp, 1.6 MB, About PDF). In developing this draft strategy, OSWER intends to provide guidance on planning and implementing OSWER's national tribal program in an effective manner to achieve EPA's Strategic Plan goals in Indian country. EPA welcomes public comment on the Tribal Strategy at any time, and will consider those comments in any future revisions of the document.
