Abstract: As required under the Clean Air Act, the periodic review of the national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) for particulate matter (PM) is now underway. EPA is now releasing a preliminary draft PM Staff Paper for public and peer review. Chapter 5 of the preliminary draft Staff Paper includes preliminary assessments of scientific and technical information and proposed future analyses or assessments of visibility data or information. This file includes a series of photographic representations of visual air quality in Denver, CO and Phoenix, AZ.
