The county emission summary is available in data base (FoxPro 2.6) format.  The structure of the file is:


FIPSST: FIPs state code
FIPSCNTY: FIPs county code
POLLUT: pollutant name as described below
       NOx - oxides of nitrogen; tons per year
       VOC - volatile organic compounds; tons per year
       PM10 - directly emitted particulate matter <10 µm; tons per year
       SO2 - sulfur dioxide; tons per year
       CO - carbon monoxide; tons per year
       NOXOSD - oxides of nitrogen; tons per typical ozone season day
       VOCOSD - volatile organic compounds; tons per typical ozone season day
       1996VMT - millions of vehicle miles traveled in 1996 See Reference
       1990POP - population in 1990
       1996REG - number of vehicles registered in 1996
POINT: non-utility point source emissions
UTILITY : utility emissions
AREA: area source emissions
MOTOR: highway vehicle mobile source emissions
OFFHIGHW: off-highway mobile source emissions
TOTAL : total county emissions, population, VMT, or registered vehicles

 

Emissions are annual (tpy) unless pollutant name indicates ozone season daily (tpd).
VOCOSD and NOXOSD are the daily emissions.
