Water Quality Cooperative Agreements
EPA has awarded two Water Quality Cooperative Agreements to fund research investigating PPCPs in biosolids and wastewater:
- A University of Florida project to evaluate the fate and transport of triclocarban in biosolids. Results expected in 2009.
- A Duke University project that is monitoring for steroids and hormones in wastewater and biosolids at four wastewater treatment plants. Results expected in 2009.
