Do the sample handling requirements for oxygen and oxygenate content apply to the analysis of other fuel parameters.
The sample handling procedures must comply with the requirements of their individual testing methods. Aromatics, oxygen and oxygenate, benzene, olefins, and sulfur samples should be at room temperature, although aromatics samples for GC-MS analysis are measured gravimetrically and are not very temperature sensitive. Distillation samples require 55 °F - 65 °F. Vapor pressure requires 32 °F - 40 °F.(7/1/94)
