In a computer-controlled in-line blending operation, adjustments to blending volumes and other blending parameters are made on an ongoing basis to keep the gasoline being blended on-spec. Normally, these adjustments are made automatically by a computer. H
It would seem to be appropriate for the software to indicate when data are manually entered, who entered the data and when it was entered. This information should be recorded with the file for the batch and available for an audit. There should also be a procedure or method by which the data that were entered could be verified by some other documents available for an auditor.(7/1/94)
