Summary of August 2023 Updates to Aquatic Life Benchmarks Table
EPA updated Aquatic Life Benchmarks table (view Aquatic Life Benchmarks and Ecological Risk Assessments for Registered Pesticides) as of August 31, 2023. As of this date, there are a total of 773 chemicals (parent compound or degradate) listed in the table.
Updates to the Aquatic Life Benchmarks include the following newly registered pesticides and their degradates (new registrations):
- Abscisic Acid;
- Ametoctradin;
- Anthraquinone;
- Bromethalin;
- Chlorophacinone;
- Citral;
- Cryolite;
- Denatonium Saccharide;
- Dicamba degradate 3, 6-dichlorosalicylic acid (DCSA);
- Dicloran;
- Didecyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride (DDAC);
- Dioctyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate;
- Diphacinone;
- Fluxapyroxad;
- Hydrogen Peroxide;
- Pelargonic Acid;
- Polymeric Betaine;
- Propylene Glycol Monolaurate;
- Sabadilla Alkaloids;
- Sodium Percarbonate;
- Triadimenol;
- Undecylenic Acid; and,
- Warfarin.
Updates to the Aquatic Life Benchmarks include new values for the following previously registered pesticides and their degradates undergoing registration review (updated registrations):
- Acrolein;
- Boric Acid;
- Captan;
- Dicamba Acid;
- Difenacoum;
- Difethialone;
- Etofenprox;
- Norflurazon;
- Thiophanate Methyl;
- Thiophanate Methyl degradate “Carbendazim”; and,
- Triadimefon.
