SRP develops three types of reuse reports that explore reuse success stories at Superfund sites: Beneficial Effects Economic Case Studies, in-depth case studies of site reuse and Site Redevelopment Profiles.

A Beneficial Effects Economic Case Study gathers more complete information related to reuse, employment and other beneficial effects. While national impact estimates may underestimate jobs, a local beneficial effects case study can obtain detailed information about economic benefits for every company present on the site, in addition to unique economic benefits provided by particular uses, such as alternative energy. Each beneficial effects economic case study includes a technical appendix that provides an overview of the approaches, assumptions and methodologies used to obtain estimates on local beneficial effects.
In-depth case studies explore Superfund reuse stories from start to finish. Their purpose is to see what redevelopment strategies worked, acknowledge reuse barriers and understand how communities overcame the barriers to create new reuse outcomes. The case studies identify innovative tools and approaches such as green remediation, renewable energy, smart growth and ecological revitalization. Each case study concludes with important lessons learned that may help other communities interested in reusing Superfund sites.
Site Redevelopment Profiles summarize site backgrounds and reuse efforts and highlight success stories as useful examples for the redevelopment of other sites.
