Safe Reliable Water for the City of Newberg
Population Served by Project: 25,000
Project Description
The Safe Reliable Water for the City of Newberg projects will protect public health, improve water quality, and support compliance with regulatory requirements by creating a new water source, constructing a new groundwater treatment facility, and increasing the water system’s seismic resiliency. The City of Newberg will replace its aging groundwater treatment facility, construct a new raw water intake on the Willamette River, and addressing existing reservoir and pipeline vulnerabilities. By completing these projects, the City of Newberg will improve the safety, reliability, and resiliency of its drinking water supply for its service area.
