Six-Year Review 4 of Drinking Water Standards (information collection request)
EPA has begun the fourth Six-Year Review process. Throughout the Six-Year Review process, EPA reviews and assesses new data, information and technologies and identifies National Primary Drinking Water Regulations (NPDWRs) which may be appropriate for revision. Six-Year Review 4 results are anticipated to be completed in 2023.
EPA is conducting analyses with relevant data and information (including characterization of national baselines after implementation of MDBP rules) to further evaluate the eight NPDWRs identified under the third Six-Year Review for potential regulatory revisions. In support of conducting these analyses, EPA is doing a preliminary release of the MDBP-related data that were collected under the fourth Six-Year Review (SYR4) Information Collection Request (ICR).
