2023 Administrative Consent Order
June 13, 2023: EPA solicited public input in December 2022 on a proposed Administrative Consent Order between EPA, the Navy, and the Defense Logistics Agency. EPA received and reviewed more than 1,700 comments prior to negotiating and finalizing the 2023 Administrative Consent Order. This webinar provided an overview of the requirements included in the final Administrative Consent Order and the revisions made in response to public input. The webinar also included a Q&A session to allow the public to gain additional information about the Consent Order and how it will impact defueling and closure of the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage facility.
Drinking Water Monitoring Update for Red Hill
April 20, 2023: This webinar featured the EPA, the Hawaii Department of Health (DOH), and the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC). Presenters discussed activities related to ensuring Drinking water meets all federal and state standards and provided information about the 2-year Long-Term Monitoring program at the Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam Water System.

Public Health Activities Related to Red Hill
January 12, 2023: This webinar featured the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR). ATSDR presenters describe their findings and recommendations from two health surveys conducted during and following the November 2021-March 2022 Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam drinking water emergency. In this webinar, ATSDR also introduced upcoming public health assessment activities to evaluate data and information on chemical releases from Red Hill since 2005.
